About the journal
The journal welcomes contributions that demonstrate how circular strategies — when designed with equity and environmental responsibility — can bridge the sustainability divide between developed and emerging economies.
Scope areas include, but are not limited to:
Design, validation and scaling of circular business models; product-service systems; value creation and capture in closed loops.
Circular economy adoption in small and medium enterprises; frugal and inclusive circular innovation in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
ESG indicators and reporting; sustainable finance instruments; circular economy metrics and standards.
Digital twins, AI and data analytics enabling circular supply chains; traceability and reverse logistics technologies.
Extended producer responsibility; circular public procurement; regulatory frameworks and circular transition policy.
Closed-loop supply chains; waste valorization; eco-design and life-cycle assessment in practice.

How it works
Authors submit an anonymized manuscript plus a separate title page through the editorial office email. An ORCID iD is required for every author.
The editorial team checks scope fit, originality and similarity (plagiarism screening) within 2 weeks. Manuscripts outside scope are returned promptly.
A minimum of two independent experts review each manuscript. The first decision is delivered within 8 weeks of submission.
Accepted articles are copy-edited, typeset, assigned a DOI and published online with a permanent PDF and full citation metadata for indexers.
